Before the first foster child is placed in your home, both parents will be required to attend our orientation training which consists of:

• Therapeutic Behavior Management (TBM)  8-hour course completed by TBM Instructor.
• Trauma-Informed Care (TIC)  12-hour course completed by TIC Instructor
  
• Foster Parent Manual, Reporting Requirements & Reasonable/Prudent Parent Standard 3-hour course completed with Licensing Specialist
• Medication Administration Training  2-hour course completed by FCSA Nurse.
• CT One Training  4-hour course completed by QA Instructor
• First Aid/CPR/AED – Certification through AHA (American Heart Association) by our certified on-site instructor (or something along those lines).
  
• Shadowing with FCSA Foster Parent  4-hour training with an experienced FCSA Foster Parent
