FCSA Organization Goals
The goals listed below were established and/or reconfirmed at the FCSA's management and Board of Directors 2013 Strategic Planning session.
- Expansion of Wasilla & Palmer Therapeutic Foster Home Program
- Expansion of Wasilla & Palmer Out-Patient Services
- Upgrade of FCSA Electronic Medical records and Billing System
- Reduction of FCSA Long-Term Debt
- CARF Accreditation
- Construction of activity & group therapy center in Fairbanks
- Relocate Residential Diagnostic Treatment Program to the Mat-Su Valley
- Establish a Recreational Camp & Outdoor Program in Alaska
- Establishing an Endownment
- Expand Respite Services in the Matu-Su Valley and Anchorage
- Make Adjustments as needed due to the Affordable Care Act
Ongoing goal established in May 2010 to meet the high growing demand in the Valley for therapuetic, healthy placements for children. This goal has no targeted end date.
Ongoing goal established in May 2013 to meet demand in the Valley for preventive services and continued support service for children discharged from higher level treatment programs. This goal has no targeted end date.
Ongoing goal established in May 2013 to upgrade and adjust our medical software as needed to meet the continual federal and State changes to Medicaid and private insurance documentation requirements.
This is an ongoing goal established in 2010 to help assure that FCSA remains in a healthy financial status by assuring that the organization will maintain approrpriate debt to asset ratios. This goal has no targeted end date.
This is an ongoing goal that was established when FCSA was first accredited in 2004 to assure that maintaining accreditation is a high priority for the organization.
The goal was established in May of 2013 to meet the need for children receiving services in Fairbanks to have easy and unlimited access to a place to engage in sport and physical activity. The target date to achieve the goal is 2015.
Established in May 2013 with a targeted end date of 2016 the goal is to relocate our 10 bed long-term treatment program to the Mat-Su Valley from Fairbanks to reduce the cost of operations and because the highest numbers of children seeking services through the program have consistently been residents of the Valley and Anchorage.
This is a long-term visionary goal established in 2006 to esablish a recreational camp in interior Alaska that would be the base for a year round outdoor program for children enrolled in any of FCSA's treatment programs. This goal has no targeted completion date.
This is a visionary goal established in 2008 with the ultimate objective of obtaining an endowment that will allow the organization to obtain financial independence and greater flexibility with the types of services available and reduce the administrative burden mandated by federal and State funding sources. This goal has no targeted end date.
This goal was established in May 2013 with targeted end date of 2016 to expand our current respite program to meet the growing demand for respite services in the Valley.
The goal was established in May of 2013 to assure that the management of FCSA assess and adjust the services it provides, the population it serves, how services are delivered, and the management structure as needed to meet changes mandated by the Affordable Care Act.
