Clinician – Fairbanks Main Office

Family Centered Services of Alaska is seeking a Clinician to work with children ages 5-18, male and female, who are experiencing emotional and behavioral issues. Responsibilities include organizing, implementing, and evaluating treatment components and activities of programs. Creating and maintaining milieu treatment activities, providing individual and group counseling to clients, and providing family counseling and/or training. Serves as an expert witness regarding clients in court, provides crisis intervention as needed, and participates in special activites. Master’s Degree from an accredited university in social work, psychology, counseling or closely related field required. Current licensure in the State of Alaska, or working to obtain licensure, is required. Prefer two years experience providing direct services to adolescents, program development, ISP development and implementation, and programmatic staff supervision. This is a full time position with an excellent benefits and compensation package. FCSA is an EEO employer.

Mental Health Technician

Did you know? Family Centered Services of Alaska’s (FCSA) provides quality residential care to male and female youth ages 12-18 that are experiencing mental health and behavioral issues many of these youth are at imminent risk of psychiatric placement outside of their community and Alaska. The atmosphere of our Residential Treatment Center helps these youth obtain life skills to reintegrate back into their communities and homes. In addition, they receive individual, family, and group therapy from our Clinical team.
This is an entry level position, we are seeking individuals that would enjoy working directly with Adolescents in a mental health setting, role model, teach and supervise adolescents in a structured residential environment. Comprehensive paid training provided to prepare new employees for success in our team oriented environment.

Requirements:
* Must be able to fulfill the physical aspects of the position, including but not limited to the ability to physically restrain clients as needed.
* Must be willing to work a Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
* H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
* 21 years of age.
* Must pass a thorough background check conducted by the State of Alaska Background Check department.
* Must have basic computer and typing skills.
